On Saturday, May 5, 2018, the largest graduating class in the history of Ecclesia College walked across the stage to receive their diplomas. We presented 12 Associate Degrees, 29 Baccalaureate Degrees, and one Master Degree. Among the baccalaureate graduates, 58.6% achieved honors recognition.
The commencement started at 10:30 am with the EC Chorale singing the Alma Mater, followed by a welcome from Dr. Randall Bell, newly named President of Ecclesia College. Justin Cortinas, Senior Class Representative, spoke a few words on behalf of the graduating class. Dr. Rick L. Grace, Biblical/Theological Studies Division Chair, delivered the commencement address. Chairman of the Board, Dr. Phil Brassfield, closed with a word of prayer and blessing before the graduates and their friends and families were dismissed into Wallace Hall for refreshments
This year, Ecclesia honored two graduates, Pedro Cayalo and Matthew Robinson as well as two alumni, Dallas Auslam and Nick Stice to the Delta Epsilon Chi Honors Society. 2018 Class Valedictorian was Molly Page and Class Salutatorian was James Stalnaker.
