Check to see if there are any scholarship programs available in your state. Transferring a state scholarship to a college outside of the state can be tricky, as this is usually determined by the individual state’s terms and guidelines. You’ll need to contact the state agency or department that is responsible for awarding the scholarship to find out if transferring the scholarship is possible. That said, it is possible to transfer some scholarships, so it’s worth looking into. Good luck with your college search!
