Steve Herndon’s journey highlights the importance of community and faith in overcoming life’s challenges. After battling addiction and personal loss, he found purpose in helping others. His story emphasizes letting go of what hinders a relationship with God, prioritizing family, and actively pursuing one’s divine purpose in life.
The Assembly emphasized the significance of sharing personal stories of faith to inspire others. John Newlun recounted his transformative encounter with God in Jamaica, while Rony Terma reflected on moving from a lukewarm faith to full devotion through intentional spiritual growth. Both stories underline that everyone’s testimony has the power to encourage and impact lives.
We introduced a theme for the 2018-2019 school year and we will be carrying this through many aspects of our campus. Keith Richards, IMB missionary to Thailand, started this series off on August 31st with a message titled Getting to the Core: Owning Our Faith in Light of Discovering Our Identity in Christ.
Andy Jennings, faculty member and Pastor at Cross Church introduced Part 3 of our Start Again series titled Be the Church: What it means to be the church and the importance of local church involvement.
Ecclesia College Assembly Lives Changed Chuck Sackman shares how the ‘Good New’ changed his life and presents the Gospel to our students. Eleven of our students surrendered their hearts to Jesus.
